You just get your new Samsung Galaxy Note 3 smartphone but can not find “Developer Options” menu item in your “Settings”?.. It’s ok. By default this menu item is desabled in Note 3.

Here are few steps how to enable it:
- Go to “Settings” > “General” > “About phone” and scroll to the “Build number” menu item.
- Tap on the “Build number” for 7 times. While you are tapping, you should see the “You are now X steps away from being developer” message appears on the screen.
- Once you reached the 7th times, you’ll see the “Developer mode has been enabled” message.
- Now, you can go to “Settings” > “General” > “Developer options” to access a list of options which deemed to be mainly useful to the developers.

If you do a factory reset of your phone, the Developer options will be back to hidden mode.
Note: I checked these steps on my Android 4.4.2 Samsung Galaxy Note 3 (SM-N900V).
